Scott was not the first on the board on Thursday, but they got there more often. They walked away with a 9-6 win over the Wyoming East Warriors. With that victory, the Skyhawks brought their scoring average up to 6.3 runs per game.

The team relied heavily on Ryan Neal, who went 1-for-3 with one triple, one stolen base, and one run. That triple was his first of the season.

Scott has been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 4-1-2 record this season. Those wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 8.8 runs over those games. Having lost for the first time this season, Wyoming East fell to 3-1.

Scott has already played their next contest, a 14-4 victory against Independence on the 27th. As for Wyoming East, they will challenge Nicholas County at 5:30 p.m. on Monday.
