It was a good run, but Forrest County Agricultural unfortunately witnessed the end of their four-game winning streak on Monday. They lost 13-6 to the Long Beach Bearcats.

Preston Anderson was cooking despite his team's loss, going 2-for-3 with one home run and two RBI. That home run marked the first that he launched this season. The team also got some help courtesy of Ethan Norman, who scored two runs and stole a base while going 1-for-3.

Forrest County Agricultural's defeat dropped their record down to 6-3. As for Long Beach, their win was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 4-5.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Forrest County Agricultural will welcome North Forrest at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. North Forrest will aim to continue their three-game streak of scoring more runs each game than the last. As for Long Beach, they will look to defend their home field on Friday against Perry Central at 7:00 p.m.
