Basketball Recap: Telfair County's Victory on Tuesday Extends Winning Streak to Three

Telfair County won the last time they faced Dooly County and things went their way on Tuesday too. The Telfair County Trojans snuck past the Dooly County Bobcats with a 66-61 win. The team accrued 55 points in the first half and coasted on those for the victory.

Dooly County's loss came despite strong showings from Sean Sallette and Jamonte Taylor. Sallette went 10 of 23 en route to 28 points, while Taylor went 9 for 22 on his way to 22 points along with five assists and five boards. That was a full 36.1% of Dooly County's points, marking the fourth time in a row he's posted more than a third of the team's points. Javion Sanders was another key player, putting up six points and 12 rebounds.

The win (which was Telfair County's third in a row) raised their record to 3-15. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 62.3 points over those games.
