Basketball Recap: Granger Christian Takes a Loss

Granger Christian's tournament run continued when they took on Forest Lake Academy on Thursday. The Granger Christian Knights lost 37-16 to the Forest Lake Academy Panthers. The match marked the Knights' lowest-scoring contest so far this season.

Forest Lake Academy can attribute much of their success to Braelyn Isidro, who went 6 of 11 en route to 12 points along with six boards and five steals. Isidro has been hot recently, having posted two or more steals the last four times she's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Alyssa Vazquez, who posted nine points and three steals.

This is the second loss in a row for Granger Christian and nudges their season record down to 6-6. As for Forest Lake Academy, the win got them back to even at 8-8.

Granger Christian does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Forest Lake Academy, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 39-19 victory against Collegedale Academy on the 30th.
