Basketball Game Preview: Garrett Morgan Falcons vs. Rittman Indians

The Garrett Morgan Falcons will square off against the Rittman Indians at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday. Neither of these teams found much success offensively their last time out, scoring well below their season average.

Last Monday, Garrett Morgan came up short against Open Door Christian and fell 36-25. The Falcons have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Even though the team lost, they still had their share of impressive performances. One of the best came from Fatuma Abdi, who posted 12 points in addition to five rebounds and three steals. She is on a roll when it comes to steals, as she's now grabbed two or more in the last nine games she's played. Another player making a difference was Anylaih Moore, who earned six points along with nine boards and three steals.

Meanwhile, Rittman was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their 24th straight defeat dating back to last season. They were outmatched by Norwayne and fell 53-8. The Indians were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 42-4.

Garrett Morgan now has a losing record at 9-10. As for Rittman, their loss dropped their record down to 0-21.
