Volleyball Recap: Marlboro Central Comes Up Short

Marlboro Central was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They came up short against the Mount Academy Eagles, falling 3-0.

The match finished with set scores of 25-17, 25-14, 25-15.

Marlboro Central's defeat dropped their record down to 1-4-1. As for Mount Academy, they are on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 11-2-1 record this season.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Marlboro Central is set to challenge their familiar foe Red Hook at 5:45 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, Mount Academy will square off against rival Rondout Valley at 5:45 p.m. on Thursday.
