Soccer Recap: Walled Lake Northern Takes a Loss

The Walled Lake Northern Knights didn't have quite enough to beat the Cranbrook Kingswood Cranes on Tuesday and fell 2-1. The loss was a bit of a surprise, as Walled Lake Northern came into the match with a sizable advantage in MaxPreps' Michigan soccer rankings (they are ranked 98th, while Cranbrook Kingswood are ranked 247th).

This is the second loss in a row for Walled Lake Northern and nudges their season record down to 5-4-2. As for Cranbrook Kingswood, their win (their first of the season) made their record 1-6-1.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Walled Lake Northern will square off against Kettering at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Cranbrook Kingswood, they will face off against St. Mary's Prep at 3:00 p.m. on Saturday.
