Volleyball Recap: San Antonio Christian Victorious

It was a proper cat-fight when San Antonio Christian faced off against Edinburg on Thursday. The Lions came out on top against the Bobcats by a score of 2-0. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Lions.

Sara Cleveland paced San Antonio Christian's offense, picking up nine kills. Cleveland got some help from Mary Ellen Sturm and her 23 assists. Maggie Adkison controlled things from the service line, finishing with two aces.

San Antonio Christian's victory bumped their record up to 5-6. As for Edinburg, with the defeat, they broke their seven-game winning streak and moved their record to 8-5.

San Antonio Christian has already played their next match, a 2-0 win against Hallettsville on the 21st. As for Edinburg, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next game, a 2-0 victory against Cuero on the 21st.
