South Anchorage has gone a perfect 10-0 against Chugiak recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Wednesday. The Wolverines will welcome the Mustangs at 5:30 p.m. Both squads will be entering this one on the heels of a big victory.

Chugiak will be up against a hot South Anchorage team: the squad just extended their winning streak to four. The Wolverines never let West Anchorage get on the board and left with a 12-0 victory on Tuesday. South Anchorage's defense has been rock solid lately; the team hasn't given up a goal in their last four contests.

Their offense was hitting West Anchorage from everywhere, as eight different players booted in a goal. Lexi Luff led that balanced group of strikers and accounted for four goals all by herself.

Meanwhile, Chugiak faced Bettye Davis East Anchorage in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Saturday. The Mustangs put the hurt on the Thunderbirds with a sharp 9-0 win. Chugiak haven't had any issues with Bettye Davis East Anchorage recently, as the game was their seventh consecutive victory against them.

South Anchorage's win bumped their record up to 4-0-1. As for Chugiak, their victory bumped their record up to 5-0.

Everything went South Anchorage's way against Chugiak in their previous meeting back in March of 2023, as South Anchorage made off with a 6-0 win. Will the Wolverines repeat their success, or do the Mustangs have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
