Soccer Recap: Youngker's Losing Streak Snapped at Six Games

Youngker's game last Tuesday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Wednesday. They never let the Central Bobcats onto the board and left with a 2-0 win. The victory was a breath of fresh air for the Roughriders as it put an end to their six-game losing streak.

Youngker's first win this season bumped their record up to 1-6. As for Central, they have traveled a rocky road recently having lost four of their last five games, which put a noticeable dent in their 1-5-1 record this season.

Youngker will square off against Verrado at 6:00 p.m. on January 15th. Verrado's last five contests have been decided by no more than a goal, so don't be surprised if it's a close one. As for Central, they didn't take long to hit the pitch again: they've already played their next matchup, a 7-1 victory against Higley on the 10th.
