East View entered their tilt with Pflugerville Connally on Tuesday with two consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with three. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 2-1 win over the Pflugerville Connally Cougars. Damian Cantu had the honor of scoring the game-winner for the Patriots.

East View was without their leading scorer, Eymard Diaz, in Tuesday's matchup. With Diaz sidelined, Giovanni Cantu got his first action of the season.

East View has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won four of their last five contests, which provided a nice bump to their 6-2-3 record this season. As for Pflugerville Connally, their defeat ended a four-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 6-5-1.

Coincidentally, both will both be playing Elgin the next time they take the pitch. Pflugerville Connally will head out to face Elgin at 7:15 p.m. on Friday, while East View will host them at 7:15 p.m. on February 11th.
