Scranton and Mid Valley are an even 3-3 against one another since December of 2017, but not for long. The Knights will venture away from home to take on the Spartans at 7:15 p.m. on Friday.

On Sunday, Scranton was within striking distance but couldn't close the gap as they fell 62-58 to Executive Education Academy Charter School.

Meanwhile, Mid Valley beat Carbondale Area 48-39 on Tuesday. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Spartans.

Scranton's defeat dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Mid Valley, they now have a winning record of 2-1.

Scranton skirted past Mid Valley 60-57 in their previous meeting back in December of 2024. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Knights since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
