Basketball Recap: Whitefield Academy Comes Up Short

Whitefield Academy was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their sixth straight loss. They were five points away from ending the streak, but they lost a 63-58 heartbreaker at the hands of the Valley Vikings. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Vikings this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 52-42 back in December of 2024.

Whitefield Academy's defeat dropped their record down to 5-15. As for Valley, their victory bumped their record up to 7-16.

Whitefield Academy wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 49-41 win against Highlands Latin on the 7th. As for Valley, they have also already played their next matchup, a 68-48 victory against Beth Haven on the 7th.
