Chester waltzed into their match on Friday with three straight wins... but they left with four. They put the hurt on the Spurger Pirates with a sharp 41-16 victory. The Yellowjackets have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won nine contests by 25 points or more this season.

Chester's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Ty Cochran, who posted six points and seven boards. Kyli Handley was another key player, going 5 of 7 on her way to 11 points.

Chester smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 23 offensive rebounds. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least 17 offensive boards in four consecutive games.

Chester has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won six of their last seven matches, which provided a nice bump to their 11-5 record this season. The wins came thanks to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 27.4 points per game. As for Spurger, they dropped their record down to 4-12 with the loss, which was their fifth straight on the road.

Chester wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 54-40 victory against Goodrich on the 20th. Spurger has also already played their next game (against Hull-Daisetta), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
