Jackson-Reed is a perfect 8-0 against Eastern since October of 2016 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Tuesday. The Tigers will be playing at home against the Ramblers at 6:15 p.m. Jackson-Reed will be looking to extend their current nine-game winning streak.

Jackson-Reed is coming in fresh off a high-stakes matchup with another one of District of Columbia's top teams: Anacostia, who was ranked 22nd at the time (Jackson-Reed was ranked sixth). The Tigers came out on top against the Indians by a score of 2-0 on Monday.

The 2-0 score doesn't show just how dominant Jackson-Reed was: they took both sets by at least 11 points. The match finished with set scores of 25-14, 25-2.

Meanwhile, Eastern came up short against School Without Walls on Thursday and fell 2-0. The Ramblers have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back matches.

Eastern's loss dropped their record down to 6-2. As for Jackson-Reed, their victory bumped their record up to 10-1.

Jackson-Reed beat Eastern 2-0 in their previous meeting back in October of 2024. Will the Tigers repeat their success, or do the Ramblers have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
