Basketball Recap: Lafayette Renaissance Charter Academy Takes a Loss

Lafayette Renaissance Charter Academy was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their 17th straight loss. They lost 49-27 to the Welsh Greyhounds.

Lafayette Renaissance Charter Academy's defeat dropped their record down to 2-17. As for Welsh, their victory ended a five-game drought at home and bumped them up to 6-13.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Lafayette Renaissance Charter Academy will take on Lake Arthur at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Welsh, they will square off against Lafayette Christian Academy at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Lafayette Christian Academy will roll in looking for their 13th straight win, something Welsh surely won't give up without a fight.
