After only two runs in their last game, South Kingstown made sure to put some runs up on the board against Westerly on Monday. The Rebels put the hurt on the Bulldogs with a sharp 11-1 win. The Rebels might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won seven matchups by six runs or more this season.

South Kingstown has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won six of their last seven contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 15-4 record this season. The victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.1 runs on average over those games. As for Westerly, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 13-7.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. South Kingstown will face off against rival Coventry at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Westerly is set to square off against their familiar foe Bishop Hendricken at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The two teams have allowed few runs on average (the Bulldogs 3.5, the Hawks 3) so any runs scored will be well earned.
