Basketball Game Preview: Decatur Red Raiders vs. Clements Colts

The Decatur Red Raiders and the Clements Colts will face off at 4:30 p.m. on Saturday without much rest having both just played. Expect the scorekeeper to be kept busy: if their previous games are any indication, both will really light up the scoreboard.

Decatur is headed into Saturday's matchup looking for a big change in momentum after dropping their third straight game on Friday. They were four points away from ending the streak, but they lost a 61-57 heartbreaker at the hands of Mars Hill Bible. While losing is never fun, the Red Raiders can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Alabama basketball rankings (they are ranked 149th, while the Panthers are ranked 34th).

Meanwhile, Clements made easy work of Hatton on Friday and carried off a 57-37 victory. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Colts.

The win got Clements back to even at 8-8. As for Decatur, their loss dropped their record down to 7-10.
