Soccer Recap: Garland Takes a Loss

Garland was the 1-0 winner over Naaman Forest when they last played one another back in January, but their luck changed this time around. The Garland Owls fell just short of the Naaman Forest Rangers by a score of 1-0 on Friday. While getting shut out isn't ideal, the Owls haven't been shut out since back in January.

This is the second loss in a row for Garland and nudges their season record down to 7-7. As for Naaman Forest, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 4-6.

Coincidentally, Garland and Naaman Forest will both be playing Rowlett the next time they take the pitch. Naaman Forest will host Rowlett at 5:30 p.m. on Saturday, while Garland will head out to face them at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
