             The Mansfield Summit Jaguars are taking a road trip to  take on the Mansfield Timberview Wolves  at 7:00  p.m.  on Friday. Mansfield Summit is coming into the  game hot, having won their last three games.
 It was a proper cat-fight when  Mansfield Summit faced off against The Colony on Friday. Mansfield Summit blew past The Colony 45-21. The Jaguars' offense stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most  points they've scored all season.
 Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Mansfield Summit to victory, but perhaps none more so than   Demarus Bird, who threw for 228 yards and four touchdowns, and also rushed for 57 yards on only five carries. The dominant performance gave  Bird a new career-high in  rushing yards.  Adarion Nettles was another key back, gaining 128 total yards and two touchdowns.
 Mansfield Summit's defense stepped up as well, laying out the QB  four times. The Colony's QB  won't forget  Cameron Hall anytime soon given he sacked him twice.
 Meanwhile, Mansfield Timberview's offense rose to the challenge against a Cougars defense that boasted an average of only 11.33  points allowed on Thursday. Mansfield Timberview enjoyed a cozy  38-24 win over Seguin. The  victory made it back-to-back  wins for the Wolves.
 Mansfield Summit now  has a winning record of 3-2. As for Mansfield Timberview,  the  victory  got them back to even at 3-3.
 Everything came up roses for Mansfield Summit against Mansfield Timberview when the teams last played  back in November of 2017, as the  squad secured  a  41-14 win. The rematch might be a little tougher for Mansfield Summit since the  team won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
