Softball Recap: Herndon Takes a Loss

Herndon suffered their biggest loss since May 2, 2024 on Wednesday. They came up short against the Yorktown Patriots, falling 11-4. The Hornets have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Herndon saw eight different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Jamie Taggart, who scored a run and stole a base while going 2-for-4.

Herndon now has a losing record of 3-4. As for Yorktown, they pushed their record up to 3-3 with the win, which was their third straight at home.

Herndon didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next match, a 15-0 defeat against McLean on the 10th. As for Yorktown, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next contest, an 11-1 victory against Wakefield on the 10th.
