Basketball Recap: United Comes Up Short

United's tournament run continued when they took on Hallsville on Friday. The United Longhorns'2024 ended with a 62-46 defeat against the Hallsville Bobcats. The Longhorns have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

United now has a losing record at 8-9. As for Hallsville, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won seven of their last eight matches, which provided a nice bump to their 13-6 record this season.

United will square off against Eagle Pass at 7:30 p.m. on January 3, 2025. United is facing Eagle Pass at the right time seeing as Eagle Pass is stuck on a three-game losing streak. As for Hallsville, they will be taking part in a tournament against Clear Lake at 6:30 p.m. on Friday.
