Basketball Recap: Platte Valley Takes a Loss + How To Watch

Platte Valley lost against Fort Lupton back in December of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Broncos took a 59-51 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Bluedevils.

Despite the loss, Platte Valley still got an impressive performance from Rocco Minner, who dropped a double-double with 13 points and ten boards. Minner is also on a roll when it comes to field goal percentage, as he's posted one of at least 50% in the last five games he's played. Kaden Tucker also deserves some recognition as he posted his first block of the season.

Platte Valley dropped their record down to 3-3 with the defeat, which was their third straight at home. As for Fort Lupton, their record now sits at 5-3.

Coming up, Platte Valley will be home for the holidays to greet Woodland Park at 2:30 p.m. on Saturday. As for Fort Lupton, they will get to enjoy the win for a while: their next game is against Resurrection Christian at 7:00 p.m. on January 6, 2026.
