South Lakes proved they can win big on Tuesday (they won by three) and on Thursday they proved they can win the close ones too. They won by a set and slipped past the James Madison Warhawks 3-2. Winning may never get old, but the Seahawks sure are getting used to it with their sixth in a row.

Keira McManus had another great game (as she tends to do), getting 34 digs and three aces. Those 34 digs gave her a new career-high.

They weren't the only good server: South Lakes was lethal from the service line and finished the game with 11 aces. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now served at least nine aces in five consecutive contests.

Despite the loss, James Madison had strong showings from Emelyn Shen, who had ten digs and one assist, and Elena Cemovic, who had five digs and one assist.
