Volleyball Recap: Walled Lake Western Takes a Loss

Walled Lake Western was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their eighth straight defeat. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Stoney Creek Cougars.

Walled Lake Western's loss dropped their record down to 2-13. As for Stoney Creek, they are on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 14-8 record this season.

Walled Lake Western wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next match, a 2-0 defeat against St. Mary's Prep on the 27th. As for Stoney Creek, they have also already played their next matchup, a 2-0 victory against Bedford on the 27th.
