After each having a week off, the Master's Academy Eagles and the Providence School Stallions will shake off the cobwebs and challenge one another at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Master's Academy will be coming into the game with an undefeated record on the line.

Two weeks ago, Master's Academy didn't have too much trouble with Lake Howell at home as they won 35-17. The 35-point effort marked the Eagles' lowest-scoring contest of the season, but in the end it didn't matter.

Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Providence School). They simply couldn't be stopped two weeks ago as they easily beat Episcopal School of Jacksonville 49-3 at home. With the Stallions ahead 42-3 at the half, the match was all but over already.

Providence School had a senior duo take command as Mason Williams threw for 386 yards and four touchdowns on only 16 passes and Noah Johnson picked up 233 receiving yards and two touchdowns. With that strong performance, Johnson is now averaging an impressive 119.2 receiving yards per game.

Master's Academy's win was their sixth straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 5-0. As for Providence School, their victory bumped their record up to 3-1.

Master's Academy ended up a good deal behind Providence School in their previous meeting back in October of 2023, losing 42-28. A big factor in that loss was the dominant performance of Williams, who rushed for 144 yards and two touchdowns while picking up 7.6 yards per carry, and also threw for 83 yards and a touchdown.
