Brewster came tearing into Thursday's matchup with six straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 6.7 runs), and they left with even more momentum. They came out on top against the Omak Pioneers by a score of 16-12. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 6-5 back in March.

Brewster's win was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 7-3. The road victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 18.3 runs over those games. As for Omak, their loss dropped their record down to 2-8.

Looking ahead, Brewster will venture away from home to square off against Chelan at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday. As for Omak, they will welcome Cascade at 12:30 p.m. on Saturday. The Pioneers are facing the Kodiaks at the right time seeing as the Kodiaks are stuck on a three-game losing streak.
