Paris and Schuyler County are an even 4-4 against one another since August of 2015, but not for long. The Coyotes will take on the Rams at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Paris is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 41.5 points per game this season.
Paris took a loss when they played away from home last Friday, but their home fans gave them all the motivation they needed on Friday. They took their contest with ease, bagging a 67-22 win over Slater. The victory was some much needed relief for the Coyotes as it spelled an end to their three-game losing streak.

Paris' win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Luke Ensor, who threw for 146 yards and three TDs while completing 81.8% of his passes, and also rushed for 83 yards and one score on only seven carries. Ensor's passing game has become a key predictor of the Coyotes' success: the team is 4-1 when his passer rating is 100 or higher, but only 1-2 otherwise. Sawyer Clements was in the mix as well, providing Paris with three touchdowns.
They were just one part of a punishing run game: Paris was unstoppable on the ground and finished the game with 225 rushing yards. That's the most rushing yards they've posted since back in November of 2024.
Paris' defense stepped up as well, laying out the QB three times. The team can thank three different players for their defensive prowess: Bryce Wade, Jackson Rudderforth, and Spencer Minks, who each picked up one sack apiece. Another thorn in Slater's side was Payden Crain, who made eight total tackles and defended one pass in addition to snagging an interception.
Meanwhile, Schuyler County was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They were dealt a 52-16 defeat at the hands of North Shelby. Rams fans who chose to attend the game sure picked the wrong one: it was the first time the team has lost against the Raiders since Friday.
Paris' win bumped their record up to 5-3. As for Schuyler County, their loss dropped their record down to 1-6.
Everything came up roses for Paris against Schuyler County when the teams last played back in November of 2024, as the team secured an 86-46 victory. One of the biggest obstacles trying to stand in the way of that victory was the Rams' Elliot Sevits, who rushed for 165 yards and four scores while picking up 7.2 yards per carry, and also picked up 40 receiving yards and a pair of TDs.
