Union-Endicott had already won four in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 7.5 runs) and they went ahead and made it five on Thursday. They were the clear victors by a 13-7 margin over the Johnson City Wildcats. While the Tigers didn't have the best season last year (they finished 4-10), it's starting to look like those struggles are a thing of the past.

Union-Endicott's victory bumped their record up to 5-1. As for Johnson City, they are on a five-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-4.
