Norfolk Catholic picks up sixth straight win at home

Recap: Norfolk Catholic Knights vs. Boone Central Cardinals

The Norfolk Catholic Knights entered their tilt with the Boone Central Cardinals with two consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with three. Norfolk Catholic walked away with a 39-31 victory over Boone Central on Thursday. That's another feather in the cap for Norfolk Catholic, who also won these teams' last head-to-head.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Norfolk Catholic to victory, but perhaps none more so than Eva Hartzell, who scored 14 points along with two steals. The team also got some help courtesy of Avery Yosten, who dropped a double-double on 11 points and ten rebounds.

Norfolk Catholic's victory was their sixth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 9-6. As for Boone Central, they now have a losing record at 7-8.

Norfolk Catholic will square off against Pierce at 7:30 p.m. on Monday. Boone Central won't have much time to rest: their next matchup is against Battle Creek at 6:00 p.m. on January 26th. Battle Creek presents a significant challenge as they come into the match much higher ranked than Boone Central in Nebraska (Battle Creek is ranked 28th, while Boone Central is ranked 113th).
