Primero took a three-set loss the last time they faced off against Raton, but this time they managed to keep it close and that made all the difference. The Bulldogs won by a set and slipped past the Tigers 2-1. The win was familiar territory for the Bulldogs, who have now won three contests in a row.

The match was a true back-and-forth as no team won consecutive sets, but in the end it was Primero who won the one that mattered. The final score came out to 25-19, 32-34, 15-10.

Primero's victory bumped their record up to 3-0. As for Raton, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-1.

Primero wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next matchup, a 2-0 win against Trinidad on the 30th. As for Raton, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 2-1 victory against Manzanola on the 30th.
