Passers beware: Cael Walton came down with his first-ever interception on Friday and he's no doubt on the hunt for more. He also rushed for 102 yards and one score on only 12 carries as Raton fell to Lamar 41-7. We hope Friday's match is the first of many we'll see posted here as the season progresses.

Coming up, Walton and Raton will be playing in front of their home fans against Trinidad at 7:00 p.m. on the 6th. The Tigers got just the result they wanted when they last faced the Miners thanks in part to Walton: he rushed for 126 yards and one touchdown on only ten carries.
