Basketball Recap: Union City Takes a Loss

Union City and Montclair squared off in some playoff action on Thursday, but Union City had to settle for second. They were beaten by the Montclair Mounties 66-34. The Soaring Eagles' loss continues a trend for the team, making it seven in a row.

Union City's defeat dropped their record down to 8-14. As for Montclair, they are on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five matchups. That's provided a massive bump to their 12-11 record this season.
