Basketball Recap: Cypress Woods Gets the Win

Cypress Woods's game on Friday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Friday. They slipped by the Hitchcock Bulldogs 50-49. This was payback for the Wildcats, who suffered a 48-30 defeat the last time these two teams met.

Cypress Woods has been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 8-4 record this season. As for Hitchcock, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 7-4.

Looking ahead, Cypress Woods will head out to face off against Cypress Falls at 11:30 a.m. on Monday. As for Hitchcock, they will challenge Sterling on Monday. The Raiders' defense has only allowed 27.5 points per game this season, so the Bulldogs' offense will have their work cut out for them.
