Softball Recap: King Comes Up Short

After soaring to 18 runs the game before, King was a bit more limited in their match on Saturday. They lost 17-1 to the Alonso Ravens. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Lions of the 15-0 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in March of 2024.

King's defeat dropped their record down to 2-6. As for Alonso, their win ended a four-game drought at home dating back to last season and bumped them up to 3-4.

King wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next game, a 19-3 loss against Spoto on the 11th. As for Alonso, they also didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next contest, a 9-3 victory against Robinson on the 11th.
