Soccer Recap: Martin Gets the Win

Martin hadn't done well against Uvalde recently (they were 0-4 in their previous four matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Saturday. The Martin Tigers skirted past the Uvalde Coyotes/Lobos (for girls) 2-1. This was payback for the Tigers, who suffered a 2-0 loss the last time these two teams met.

Martin's first win this season bumped their record up to 1-2-1. As for Uvalde, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 1-3.

Martin will take on Eagle Pass at 6:30 p.m. on Monday. As for Uvalde, they will head out to face off against Fredericksburg at 10:45 a.m. on Thursday.
