Recap: Sotomayor vs. Taft
On Saturday, Sotomayor and Taft finished up on equal footing with a 1-1 draw.
Sotomayor's goal came courtesy of
Kevin Ortiz, which was the first he's scored this season.
Sotomayor's draw gives them a new season record of 1-5-3. Meanwhile, Taft's record is now 9-5-2.
Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Sotomayor's homestand continues as they prepare to take on Brennan at 5:00 p.m. on February 6th. Sotomayor's offense has struggled lately (the team hasn't scored more than a single goal for three straight games), a trend the team is no doubt ready to end. As for Taft, they will be playing at home against Holmes at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Taft's last nine games have been decided by no more than a goal, so don't be surprised if it's a close one.
