Volleyball Recap: Skyline Comes Up Short

Skyline was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their tenth straight defeat. They lost 3-0 to the Legacy Lightning. The Falcons were not able to make up for their loss to the Lightning from their previous meeting back in October of 2024.

The final score came out to 25-17, 25-13, 25-17.

Gabriela Medina-Valdez paced Skyline's offense, picking up nine kills. Medina-Valdez got some help from Lizeth Medina-Valdez and her ten assists. Mikaela Stromquist controlled things from the service line, finishing with four aces.

Skyline's defeat dropped their record down to 5-17. As for Legacy, the victory was the 16th in a row for them, bringing their record up to 20-3.

Skyline didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 3-1 loss against Fairview on the 29th. Legacy does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
