Baseball Game Preview: Triangle Math & Science Tigers vs. NCSSM: Durham Unicorns

The Triangle Math & Science Tigers will challenge the NCSSM: Durham Unicorns at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Given that the two teams suffered a loss in their last games, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this game.

Things were looking good for Triangle Math & Science after they put the first points on the board on Tuesday, but unfortunately for them things went downhill from there. They fell 6-1 to River Mill. The Tigers have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Meanwhile, NCSSM: Durham was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their 17th straight loss dating back to last season. They took a 9-6 hit to the loss column at the hands of Durham School of the Arts.

NCSSM: Durham's defeat dropped their record down to 0-3. As for Triangle Math & Science, they now have a losing record of 1-2.

Triangle Math & Science skirted past NCSSM: Durham 4-2 in their previous matchup on Wednesday. The rematch might be a little tougher for Triangle Math & Science since the squad won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
