Volleyball Recap: West Comes Up Short

West was the 3-1 winner over Troy when they last played one another back in October of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. West fell 3-1 to Troy on Tuesday. West has now taken an 'L' in back-to-back matches.

The final score came out to 25-14, 24-26, 25-19, 25-17.

Cadence Negron was a one-woman wrecking crew For Troy. as she had 44 digs and six assists. That's the most digs Negron has posted over her last six matches.

West now has a losing record of 15-16. As for Troy, they have been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 18-9 record this season.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. West is set to take on their familiar foe McGregor at 4:30 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, Troy will square off against rival Clifton at 4:30 p.m. on Friday.
