Baseball Recap: Eastern View Picks Up Fifth Straight Win at Home

Eastern View hadn't done well against Courtland recently (they were 0-9 in their previous nine matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Tuesday. The Cyclones came out on top against the Cougars by a score of 7-3. For the Cyclones, this counts as revenge for the 11-1 victory the Cougars walked away with the last time they faced one another back in May of 2024.

Eastern View pushed their record up to 10-3 with the win, which was their fifth straight at home. The home victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.4 runs on average over those games. As for Courtland, the defeat snapped their winning streak at three games and leaves them with a 6-4 record.

The two teams have allowed few runs on average (the Cyclones 3, the Cavaliers 3.6) so any runs scored will be well earned.
