Baseball Recap: University Christian Gets the Win

University Christian won the last time they faced Nease and things went their way on Thursday too. The University Christian Christians walked away with a 7-2 win over the Nease Panthers. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Christians.

Caden Worbington made a splash no matter where he played. On the mound, he tossed two innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit. Worbington was also solid in the batter's box, scoring a run while going 1-for-3.

In other batting news, the team relied heavily on Mason McLeod, who scored a run and stole two bases while going 2-for-4. Those two stolen bases gave him a new career-high. Bryson Harnage was another key player, scoring a run and stealing one base while going 1-for-2.

University Christian's record now sits at 2-0.

University Christian will head out to take on Fletcher at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Nease, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Englewood at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Nease comes in still looking for their first win of the season.
