It was a good run, but Berean Christian unfortunately witnessed the end of their five-match winning streak on Monday. They lost 3-0 to the Lakeway Christian Academy Lions. Berean Christian was not able to make up for their defeat to Lakeway Christian Academy from their previous meeting back in September of 2024.

Berean Christian took the loss but they managed to make steady progress, increasing their score in every set they played. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-8, 25-14, 25-17.

Jaidyn Baird paced Berean Christian's offense, picking up five kills. Baird got some help from Sarah Rimmer and her nine assists.

Berean Christian's loss dropped their record down to 9-11. As for Lakeway Christian Academy, they pushed their record up to 16-2 with the victory, which was their ninth straight at home dating back to last season.

Berean Christian wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next matchup, a 2-0 defeat against West on the 30th. Lakeway Christian Academy does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
