Lehigh's game last Friday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Tuesday. Everything went their way against the Dunbar Tigers as the Lehigh Lightning made off with a 25-9 victory. The win continues a trend for the Lightning in their matchups with the Tigers: they've now won eight in a row.

The team relied heavily on Eliana Miranda, who scored four runs while getting on base in all four of her plate appearances. Another player making a difference was Seth Polk, who scored three runs while going 2-for-3.

Lehigh always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .757. Their OBP was a full 0 higher than the also-impressive .542 that Dunbar posted.

The victory got Lehigh back to even at 2-2. As for Dunbar, they dropped their record down to 0-4 with the loss, which was their sixth straight on the road dating back to last season.

Looking ahead, Lehigh will take on Riverdale at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Dunbar, they will head out on the road to square off against Island Coast at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Dunbar is facing Island Coast at the right time seeing as Island Coast is stuck on a three-game losing streak.
