Volleyball Recap: Kettle Moraine Lasers vs. Nicolet Knights
After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Arrowhead, Kettle Moraine was happy to have turned things around on Wednesday. They had just enough and edged out the Nicolet Knights 3-2. This was a revenge game for the Lasers: when they faced off against the Knights back in August, they had to take a 2-0 defeat.
Kettle Moraine was staring down a 2-1 deficit headed into the fourth set, but they rallied to take the next two for the win. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 23-25, 25-15, 11-25, 25-22, 15-7.
Kettle Moraine found their leader in freshman Alyssa LaClair, who had 11 assists and six digs.
Kettle Moraine is on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 12-18 record this season. As for Nicolet, they dropped their record down to 8-9 with the loss, which was their tenth straight on the road dating back to last season.
