Basketball Preview: Burgettstown Blue Devils vs. Frazier Commodores
Burgettstown is 4-0 against the Commodores since January of 2017, and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Tuesday. The Burgettstown Blue Devils will be playing at home against the Frazier Commodores at 7:30 p.m. Both teams come into the contest bolstered by wins in their previous matches.
After only 25 points in their last match, Burgettstown made sure to put some points up on the board against the Bearcats on Friday. Burgettstown strolled past the Bearcats with points to spare, taking the game 59-44.
Meanwhile, Frazier had to endure a three-game losing streak, but that streak is no more. They came out on top against Carmichaels by a score of 42-34 on Friday.
Burgettstown is on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four games, which provided a nice bump to their 16-6 record this season. As for Frazier, the win got them back to even at 10-10.
Burgettstown was able to grind out a solid victory over the Commodores in their previous matchup back in January, winning 57-47. Does Burgettstown have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Commodores turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
