Volleyball Preview: Edison Tigers vs. Madera Coyotes        
        
		
            Edison is 2-8 against Madera since October of 2019 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit  on Thursday. The Tigers will be playing at home against the Coyotes  at 6:00  p.m.
Edison had taken Hoover down for two straight games at home, but that winning streak came to an end  on Tuesday. The Tigers came up short against  the Patriots, falling  3-0. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest  loss the Tigers have suffered  against the Patriots since August 16, 2023.
 The final score came out to 25-14, 25-19,  25-10.
Meanwhile, Madera can  bid farewell to their four-match losing streak thanks to their match  on Tuesday. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with  a  3-2  win over Sanger West. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest  victory the Coyotes have posted  since September 12th.
 Madera had a slow start but a hot finish: after dropping the first two sets, they turned around to win the next three. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 18-25, 18-25, 25-15, 25-21,  15-7.
 Madera's  win was their first in the league, bumping their league record up to 1-4 and their overall record up to 7-26. As for Edison, their defeat dropped their record down to 16-19.
