Baseball Recap: Harlan Takes a Loss

Harlan was the 10-0 winner over Jefferson when they last played one another back in July of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Cyclones fell 8-4 to the Yellowjackets on Friday.

Harlan's loss dropped their record down to 18-8. As for Jefferson, their victory ended a seven-game drought at home and bumped them up to 9-21.

Coming up, Harlan is taking a road trip to square off against Red Oak at 5:30 p.m. on Monday. As for Jefferson, they wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next match, a 9-2 defeat against Lewis Central on the 28th.
