Basketball Game Preview: Union County Patriots vs. Scott Highlanders

The Union County Patriots will face off against the Scott Highlanders at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Keep an eye on the score for this one: the two teams posted some lofty point totals in their previous games.

Last Friday, Union County had to suffer through a 87-58 loss at the hands of Anderson County. While losing is never fun, the Patriots can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Tennessee basketball rankings (they are ranked 205th, while the Mavericks are ranked 87th).

Meanwhile, Scott can bid farewell to their four-game losing streak thanks to their game on Saturday. They walked away with a 66-54 victory over Maryville Christian.

Union County has also traveled a rocky road recently having lost three of their last four games, which put a noticeable dent in their 8-7 record this season. As for Scott, their win bumped their record up to 12-10.
