After having lost a blowout in their previous game against International High School at Largo, Chesapeake Math & IT Academy South was happy to have turned things around on Thursday. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 2-1 victory over the Friendly Patriots. The score was all tied up 0-0 at the break, but Chesapeake Math & IT Academy South were the better team in the second half.

The win got Chesapeake Math & IT Academy South back to even at 2-2-1. As for Friendly, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-5.
